my ideal job?

Hello again! Well… this time I will tell you some things about my ideal job… I really don’t know how will be this… I believe that I know the area that I wanna hold but are so many things that I wanna do….and something I think that I don’t want to do anything.

The area that like me more is ecology and conservation of the wild life, because I think this area is no more explored and so much relevant to care. I will like to work in CONAF, their national parks or other national reserves like " Wolong panda reserve", helping to care not only the fauna but also the flora. I want help to improve the quality life of the animals in extinction danger, and make proyects that help to their natural reproduction.

Parallel to this I wanna travel, for fun and for job… learn about life, medicine (and Holistic medicine too!!) veterinary, etc. 

A more closer goal: I will like to make projects with different municipalities in Chile, that help to control the canine overpopulation, and of course it helps to improve their quality life. I will attend and rehabilitate them, an then, they will be loved by a family as they deserve.

As I said, I would love to know about everything! Lately I have been interested in the area of clinic, horses and also neurology … as I know more I want to know much more!... For the moment I am calm and opened to new possibilities, in this time I have known different areas of the veterinary medicine and still remains to know …Who knows that we end up  doing when we graduate.

Zoology

Helloo !!! :D
It`s 23:30 p.m and my noisy head doesn´t leave me focus! :C ... Well... today i`m going to talk about my favourite subject....Hum! it`s difficult because we don`t have many subjects and they are the base of the veterinariry medicine, like chemistry or biology... we don´t have any subject really Veterinary yet !! :C.
I can say that zoology is my favourite subject now... in this, we have seen parasites, insects, worms, reptile, mammals, etc. We see all species and learn about evolution, morphology and diferent characteristic of each animal.
I like this subject so much because this is the most nearly to Veterinary for the moment and it has a lot of ecology and this is what excite me.
The last class we saw amphibious and I learned that the frogs have suffered many mortality because human being and  the global warming... We can change it! Or at least ... I hope it.

Hello !! .. this time i have to write about someone in my field that I admire and I really dont know about who... Whatever... I tell you somethings about Daniel Rodriguez ( i feel so psychopath xD i´m sorry, but I have to...), he is my friend... well, no exactly but somenthing like that...let`s talk about another thing xD...

He is 24 years old and he is doing his fourth year of Veterinary Medicine in the Andrés Bello University. About his work, he have a German Sheperd kennel in his home that is called "Von Areta Haus", there is a canine hotel too. He train dogs with behavior disorders like aggressiveness or laid-back dogs.
His home is also a refuge, a few years ago he started a proyect to help dogs in condition of street, for what he united to the campaign "All dogs deserve a home" of Pedigree, which goal was to insert to these animals in definitive homes.

I like his work because he is not a simply vet, he with other people have rescued more of 100 stray dogs, working in Pedigree, Oprachile and inclusive the dogs rescued of the ex-refuge adany (the ex-municipal kennel), and I think that is a example for us, always we can do more to help they were not lucky to born into a family that protects them.

Veterinary

Why I want to be a Vet? 
It`s a good question... In general all my life I loved animals, almost the same that everyone... I love my pets... dogs, cats, birds... but one day somenthing in mi me changed. First  I saw a video, a video of animal abuse, I felt so sick, angry, i couldn`t understand how can it happen, how people, like me or you... can do something like that. After this i become vegetarian, i know that much people think it`s stupid... but it was my way to do something about it.
Then, I starting become more interested in nature, exotic animals, and wildlife and now, this is the way that I wanna develop in my career. Why? ... Because nobody are interested in this area yet, and I think this is very important to care.

In this fast-paced world people  give so much importance to money, right, it is necesary but many people do not care about the way that they have to take to get it. In this case, many animals get hurt by our decisions. Destruction, wars, deforestation and environmental problems are some of the problems that we have to confront... and they too, and just for the selfishness and greed.

 I really think that we can do something for they... for us, and I hope find someone in my career that think like me...We can change the wold! ... or maybe a part of it.

hello!

hello ! my name is Alexandra Salinas and i`m 18 years old. I`m from Batuco, Santiago, Chile and I`m studying Veterinary at the University of Chile, La Pintana, so... i`m a big commuter.

Really i`m not very inspired but...well... i like listen music, almost everything, mostly rock and folck metal.My favorite group is "Mago de Oz", i like "Eluveitie" too.I also like to draw, going for a walk and definitely enjoy the magic of nature and in general, life. I can be a calm and quiet person, as well as a sociable one, but sometimes this side is more dificult to me. 

I wolud like to tell you about my dream: Travel. I don´t know many places but i will. I want to know ... different cultures, different people and more than people ... places. All landscapes nature has to wonder, to show us the tiny that we are. I really want to know those places that are not yet fully "humanized", to travel and  help everyone who needs it. I want to show to others the little things that nature gives us ... and when I forget them, they will remember to me. 

Fine, this is a little piece of me. I hope I  do not make you feel bored.
